How to Get Started with Group Classes

Foundation A-D – This four-class series introduces the key principles of Pilates on the reformer in a group setting. This course or equivalent is a prerequisite for all group classes.

Jump Start – Start with three 1-on-1 Private sessions for a personal introduction to the key principles of Pilates, and then take any five Level 1 classes. Offered one-time only to first-time clients, valid for 3 months from date of first Private session.


Class Descriptions

Reformer 1 & 2 – This total body workout builds on key Pilates principles of core strength and fluid movement. Level 2 adds new exercises and challenges the core further with work on coordination, focus and balance.

Tower 1 & 2 – Towers in combination with mat exercises bring the Pilates trapeze table work to a group class setting. Articulate, stretch, and stabilize your spine and increase strength with spring-based resistance exercises.

Reformer Level 2 & 3 – For Intermediate– Advanced clients.

Golfers – Re-trains and aligns the body to achieve optimal functional for golf. For getting a correctly aligned body leading to lower handicap, longer drives, and reduced injuries. Focus on shoulder & core stability and mobility, as well as torso rotation – all essentials for a great swing.

Combo Class- This class builds endurance, coordination and strength using dynamic movements with an emphasis on core stability on the Reformer and the Tower.Level 2 is recommended only for clients who have attended at least 20 classes before

Osteolates – A class aimed at those 50 years & older who need to build bone mass through safe weight bearing exercises. Prevention of Osteoporosis is better than cure!

Pre-Natal – Taught on both the Reformer and the Tower, improve your core control to support your growing belly. The Reformer class focuses on strength and toning to help prepare for labor& delivery. The Tower class focuses on alignment and gentle stretching to alleviate the aches and pains of pregnancy. Your Doctor's clearance to exercise is necessary.

Post-Natal – Just the right class to get new moms back in shape. This mat and tower workout focuses on healing and strengthening the core muscles stretched from pregnancy and builds the arm and leg strength needed to care for a young child. Clients new to Pilates will need a doctor's clearance and at least three Private sessions prior to joining.

Pilates Stretch Tone & elongate your muscles in this flowing workout which emphasizes octive stretching through movement.Feel stretched & energized!
